John Travolta surprises couple on their wedding day - pictures

John Travolta surprised a happy couple by arriving at their wedding ceremony.

A friend of the bride and groom posted pictures of the Grease legend posing with them at their nuptials on Reddit.

"My friend ran into John Travolta the night before his wedding, and he shows up the next day," the guest wrote.

On the imgur page hosting pictures of Travolta's surprise appearance, the friend explained that the couple ran into him in a bar.

In the pictures, Travolta can be seen wearing a baseball cap, black shirt and jeans in contrast to the dresses and tuxes worn by the rest of the wedding party.

Further details of the actor's surprise appearance have not yet emerged, though E! News claims that the ceremony took place in Georgia.

Travolta's spokesperson has not commented on the story.
